As an authorized HVAC contractor for Oncor’s Energy Efficiency Rebate Program, we offer incentives for installing new high-efficiency air conditioning units with a minimum 16 SEER rating or higher. Depending on the equipment replacement, new-high efficiency installation, and geographic location, you can earn incentives ranging from $300 to $2,800.

To qualify for the Home Energy Efficiency Program and its incentives, your home must have Oncor as the electric delivery provider. Homeowners and renters (with permission from the owner) are eligible to participate. Incentives may cover all or part of the project costs completed within the Home Energy Efficiency Program.
Starting in 2023, an important update has been made to the rebate program. For air conditioning systems, SEER 2 HVAC equipment is now required. Your new A/C system must meet the minimum SEER 2 efficiency rating to be eligible for the rebate. However, both SEER and SEER 2 equipment will be accepted regarding heat pump systems.
Your new HVAC system must exceed the minimum SEER2, EER2, and HSPF2 efficiency ratings to qualify for the HVAC incentives. The incentives are calculated based on the kilowatt (kW) and kilowatt-hour (kWh) savings generated by the HVAC system being replaced. The more energy-efficient your new system is, the greater the incentive you can receive.
